We have been in love with the island of Koufonisia since our first visit here, almost 30 years ago.
We were completely enchanted by its natural beauty and authentic, easy spirit. You might say that the years since then have all been in preparation for the creation of Eros Keros.
Four luxuriously appointed Cycladic-style houses
A homey and warm-hearted atmosphere
Gazing onto the sacred island of Keros
Surrounded by the melodious sound of the waves
…and innumerable stars
We have traveled the world as students of hospitality and design to better understand what we like and what we think our guest will love. Our first specialty lodging, Corona Borealis, has been an eight-year adventure in re-envisioning, revamping, and operating a property on our neighboring island of Naxos.
At last, we were ready to build our own retreat on our most favorite island.
Eros Keros is a small complex of four independent, luxuriously charming and stylish houses, each with generous space to make you feel at home. We also have a perfectly positioned pool and lovely little courtyards to give you many ways of enjoying the Cycladic experience of relaxation, with luxury services, the most stunning view, and a delicious breakfast made only with natural local ingredients.
Eros Keros is for those who wish to experience authenticity in a peaceful location.
Our aim is luxury and total serenity.
We’ve made each house special in its own way, with personally-selected furnishings, fabrics, and artwork, recreating a tradition of style incumbent in all Cycladic houses. We’ve also put our love into the details…spaceous living rooms, airy bedrooms that all have an amazing view to the Aegean Sea and Keros island, fireplaces, private terraces, and our signature yellow windows, inspired by Greek cathedrals.
Each house has its own private terrace with comfortable day beds, where one can lounge the day away while taking in the majestic vistas of the sea.
From the unique position that each of the four houses was designed to have, one can see the islands of Amorgos, Glaronisi, Kato Koufonisi, Schinousa and even Santorini’s lights at night. Fanos and Italida, the two most beautiful sandy turquoise water beaches of the Cyclades, are only a few meters away.
The homey and warm-hearted atmosphere gives you no reason to leave, although we do encourage you to get to know this wonderful island and its people.
There is a slowness of time here. And a bit of magic.
